Health details and date of birth, to personalise your reports

myDNA asks for information about any prescription medications you may currently be taking, however your report may not cover all of these medications.

myDNA will only report on actionable genetic findings that have a high degree of scientific credibility, which have been reviewed and signed off by the myDNA scientific team. We’ll also ask whether you smoke, because this may affect your body’s ability to process certain medications. Life insurance companies may ask you for copies of your genetic test results. The majority of genes we analyse for pharmacogenomic testing aren’t related to disease risk, and shouldn’t have implications for life insurance.

myDNA may share de-identified aggregated information about use of the services for myDNA’s analysis and research (which may be published) into the use of the genetic services.

myDNA will never disclose or share your data with third parties like insurance companies.
